A little about the cottage:   The Thatched Cottage is tucked away between the villages of St Hilary and Goldsithney. Dating from the 18th Century, the cob and thatch building is Grade II listed, though has been sympathetically modernised to provide present-day creature comforts. The Thatched Cottage offers a relaxing away-from-it-all break, but provides an ideal base from which to explore the delights of West Cornwall. Marazion, St Michaels Mount and the fabulous sweep of Mounts Bay with its sandy beaches are only 2 miles away, Penzance with its subtropical gardens, Cafes, restaurants and interesting shops is 6 miles to the west, while St Ives and it's famous galleries can be found around 10 miles to the north. Internally, the original parts of the house all have traditionally low ceilings and doorways, many exposed beams and narrow and steep stairs, so the taller amongst you will need to take care. The kitchen, dining room and bathroom are all modern additions with full-height ceilings. There are 3 bedrooms so the house can comfortably sleep 5. Sorry no pets.   The Thatched Cottage Self Catering 01736 794183
